Purpose of the position
To carry out assessments of clients' Management Systems to ensure that they meet the requirements of International Standards such as ISO 9001 ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other standards where competent (foot carbon print).
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Undertake management system assessments in accordance with BSI requirements.
2. Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to items of corrective action where appropriate.
3. Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.
4. Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team.
Overview of the requirements:
5. Experience: 3rd part audit experience in EMS, QMS and OHSAS areas (with audit logs) (ISO 9001-14001-45001)
6. Qualifications: LAC- Lead auditor course - 40 hours recognized for each of the 3 schemas (QMS EMS OHSAS) and industry experience (min 2 years work experience in the required industry sector)
7. Fluency in Italian and English
Nice to have:
8. Degree: Environmental engineering or related disciplines considered as plus
9. Other qualification will be evaluated (i.e., RSPP course, EMS qualification on Italian
10. legislation)
11. Expertise in social and sustainability issues, 2nd part audit (related education and /or work experience) and work experience in social compliance or subject related industry in various positions.
12. 3rd party registration as auditor considered as a plus (i.e., APSCA, IRCA, etc)
