The organization is part of an international industrial group. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs bHomologation Manager /b, you will be the central authority overseeing the homologation process, ensuring compliance with EU and national transport regulations. You will manage the delivery of inspection and certification activities with a strong focus on quality systems, regulatory interpretation, technical decision-making, and maintaining team competence. /p h3Requirements (Must-have) /h3 ul libDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. /b /li lib5+ years of experience with accreditation bodies and/or transport authorities, especially in an ISO 17020 accredited inspection body. /b /li lib5+ years of experience in the automotive sector, specifically in homologation, inspection, or certification roles. /b /li libExperience working within an accredited conformity assessment body (ISO 17020). /b /li libStrong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17021 quality systems. /b /li libProven experience in EU vehicle type approval processes. /b /li libFluent in English (written and spoken). /b /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17021-1, and EU vehicle type-approval regulations. /li liOversee the homologation process and ensure technical documentation is in line with EU and national regulations. /li liDevelop and improve technical procedures, methodologies, and instructions related to homologation and type approval. /li liInterpret EU and national transport legislation and translate it into operational practices for homologation processes. /li liHandle technical queries with clients, auditors, and competent authorities (e.g., Ministry of Transport). /li liCollaborate with the Quality Manager on audits, nonconformities, root cause analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). /li liLead and mentor a team of homologation inspectors, auditors, and technical staff, ensuring ongoing training, competence, and authorizations. /li liReview and approve technical reports and certification decisions related to homologation. /li liManage technical equipment, including calibration and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. /li liOversee risk mitigation strategies related to technical processes and homologation procedures. /li /ul h3Requirements (Nice-to-have) /h3 ul liBackground in Designated Technical Services (DTS) for EU type approval. /li /ul h3What’s Offered /h3 ul liCompensation aligned with seniority and responsibilities of a C-level position. /li liA leadership role in a regulated and highly technical environment. /li liStable employment terms and opportunities for career growth. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
