Your role will support a positive working culture and contribute to the overall performance and wellbeing of the onboard community. /p h3HR Governance, Compliance Processes /h3 ul liYou will identify and report opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes, supporting inspections (Port State Control, HESS etc.) in full alignment with Company procedures and the Maritime Labour Convention. /li liYou will assist the Captain with compliance checks (e.g. work/break hours) and disciplinary disembarkation decisions. /li liYou will manage investigations, disciplinary reports and cases of ethical misconduct, ensuring fairness, transparency and procedural correctness. /li liYou will support management in understanding and implementing Company decisions impacting personnel. /li /ul h3People Management, Talent Development /h3 ul liYou will run the onboard HR desk and contribute to recruiting, internal mobility and talent identification processes aligned with Company values. /li liYou will oversee Welfare and Wellbeing activities, ensuring high‑quality initiatives that improve Crew Experience onboard and promote belonging and cultural integration. /li liYou will oversee learning and development activities (excluding HESS training) led by the Learning Officer, ensuring continuous improvement. /li liYou will welcome newly embarked personnel, introduce key HR processes and facilitate smooth integration onboard. /li liYou will support the performance evaluation process, ensuring consistency, transparency and equal opportunities for promotion or departmental movement. /li liYou will facilitate conflict resolution between Crew Members, promoting a respectful and collaborative environment. /li /ul h3Operational HR Support /h3 ul liYou will support Office Management with planning, improving processes and delivering special HR projects. /li liYou will assist onboard officers and management in handling personnel‑related matters in line with Company procedures. /li liYou will supervise the Chief Crew Housekeeping in allocating Crew, Staff and Officer cabins according to Company rules. /li liYou will ensure effective communication to Crew Members using multiple channels (meetings, cascading, crew TV etc.). /li /ul h3Safety Culture Awareness /h3 ul liYou will ensure your team implements and maintains an effective HESS management system. /li liYou will enforce and promote safety procedures within your area of responsibility. /li liYou will contribute to a work environment that supports a strong and sustainable safety culture. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
