PpbKnitwear Designer – Dynamic Cross-Functional Creative Lead /b /ph3THE ROLE /h3pAlanui is seeking a highly skilled, proactive and organized Knitwear Designer to join our Style Team. /ppThis role requires a dynamic and versatile creative who will be responsible for designing and developing women’s and men’s knitwear pieces for the RTW collections, contributing across all phases of the creative process from initial research and concept development to final product delivery. /ppYou will report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate constructively and energetically with the Style Team and Product Development Office to ensure aesthetic consistency, product excellence, and respect for tight timelines. /ph3WHAT YOU’LL DO /h3pResearch mood boards, yarns, stitches, and inspirations. /ppIdentify and analyze new trends to guide knitwear design direction. /ppDesign both hand-drawn and technical sketches; follow the development process from concept through to final product. /ppWork closely with the Product Development team to ensure design feasibility and meet deadlines. /ppLead fittings and provide creative support during fashion shows and presentations. /ppContribute to the implementation of embroidery and print placements on knitwear pieces. /ph3WHO YOU ARE /h3pMinimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry, with a strong focus on knitwear. /ppDegree in Fashion Design; a master’s degree is a plus. /ppSolid understanding of knitting techniques and knitting machines. /ppStrong technical knowledge of yarns, stitches, and knitwear constructions. /ppExcellent freehand drawing and sketching skills. /ppProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). /ppHighly organized, able to manage multiple projects in parallel and meet tight deadlines. /ppPortfolio required.
