Customer Application Specialist – Diagnostics Solutions (Northern Italy)

As Customer Application Specialist (CAS) in our Life Science & Diagnostics division, you will support customers in Pathology laboratories. This is an exciting field-based role as part of the Italy Customer Application Specialist (CAS) team, supporting Field Sales in Pathology & Healthcare settings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to promote products.
* Providing in-field pre-sales technical support to Italy Sales Representatives.
* Offering post-sales support, including onsite instrument and product training.
* Participating in Clinical Sessions with Pathologists.
* Reporting actions such as trainings, demos, and technical support to the CAS Manager.
* Driving seminars and special training sessions for customers.
* Building and maintaining customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
* Assessing competitor activity at customer sites.
* Collaborating with the Customer Technical Support Team.
* Handling customer complaints and inquiries.
This role involves remote work combined with regular travel to customer sites in Northern Italy, especially in Lombardia, Piemonte, and Veneto regions.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
* Hands-on experience with H&E / primary / special staining, immunohistochemistry, and/or ISH.
* Good knowledge of pathology workflows.
* Full proficiency in Italian and a good command of English.
* IT/Computer literacy.
* Valid driving license.
* Previous experience in Applications/Technical roles is desirable.
