The role focuses on the validation and certification of railway signalling products, with specific attention to installation aspects and regulatory compliance. /ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliManage technical activities related to the certification of railway signalling products. /liliPerform type testing activities in internal Hitachi Rail laboratories and coordinate tests with external ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories. /liliPrepare and manage certification documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports, in compliance with applicable standards and installation configurations. /liliEnsure correct execution of laboratory test setups and test procedures. /liliMonitor and verify calibration activities of laboratory instruments and related records. /liliSupport the maintenance and continuous improvement of laboratory Quality Management System documentation in compliance with EN ISO/IEC 17025. /liliEnsure compliance with applicable technical standards and metrological methodologies. /liliInterface with customers, certification bodies, and accreditation authorities as required. /liliBe available for short- to medium-term business travel, mainly within Italy. /li /ulh3Competencies /h3ulliStrong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset. /liliAbility to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration within a team. /liliAttention to detail and strong quality orientation. /liliGood practical skills in the use of laboratory measurement instruments and tools. /li /ulh3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliKnowledge of applied metrology for electromagnetic, mechanical, climatic and electrical quantities. /liliExperience in laboratory testing or calibration activities. /liliGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office, calibration data management software and data processing tools. /liliAbility to apply technical standards and regulatory frameworks. /liliStrong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. /li /ulh3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliExperience in ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories. /liliPrevious involvement in product certification activities within regulated environments (railway or similar industries). /li /ulh3Education / Qualifications /h3ulliDegree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related disciplines. /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliEnglish: Good technical knowledge required. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
