Join DEC Technical Sales & Applications team (TSD) and make a real impact on the environment, while building a rewarding career in a dynamic global corporation.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise to the sales team: assist sales representatives/partners in VOC abatement technologies, equipment, and applications to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.Highly mobile and adaptable to travel internationally for business trips on short notice, ranging from a few days to several consecutive weeks.Identify customer needs: conduct in-depth customer interactions to gather information about their specific needs and potential challenges.Develop customized VOC abatement solutions: analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions that align with DEC's offerings, demonstrating the value proposition to customers.Deliver technical presentations: craft compelling presentations that showcase the benefits of DEC's processes, technologies, and services, highlighting how they address specific customer challenges.Provide pre and post-sales support: offer technical assistance to customers before and after the purchase, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and addressing any potential issues.Stay up-to-date with VOC abatement technologies trends: continuously monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, ensuring DEC's offerings remain relevant and competitive.Contribute to product development: provide feedback to DEC engineering teams, suggesting improvements and enhancements based on customer requests and feedback, monitoring market trends.Utilize informatics to gain insights: use data analytics and reporting tools to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and industry trends.Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer interactions, highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a well-structured workflow.Prioritize customer satisfaction and align technical expertise with customer requirements; strong interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration and relationship building.Qualifications and ExperienceEngineering (bachelor, master, PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field within the STEM discipline (e.G., materials science, environmental engineering).5–8 years of trackable experience in technical sales and applications engineering in chemical/environmental processes or related industries.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools.High proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience in formulas, functions, pivot tables, and automation using scripts (e.G., Google Apps Script).Good to Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).English language: excellent skills (CEFR C1/C2 level or native) in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.Additional Skills and Desired QualitiesPassion for technology and innovation.Italian language: excellent skills (CEFR C1 level or native) in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.Additional languages: intermediate or advanced knowledge (CEFR Bx/Cx) of additional languages (e.G., French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, etc.).Soft skillsMaturity, patience, good manners, and respect for colleagues and especially for customers, demonstrating empathy.Ability to listen, creativity, reliable execution;
