Main activities
The selected candidate will collaborate within the Mobility Systems Department, reporting to the Line Manager, mainly dealing with the design, technical verification of projects, field activities and factory tests and the following specialized responsibilities, applied to urban transport systems (subways, light railways, tramways) and railways:
1. Supporting to overall management of Testing and Commissioning Activities;
2. Coordination/production of Testing and Commissioning plan,
3. Coordination of works / T&C activities and access;
4. Coordination of maintenance during T&C;
5. Overseeing Testing and Commissioning site safety;
6. T&C activities by advising on adequate operations resources,
7. Scheduling and planning of process for handover of assets from construction to T&C,
8. Technical performance measurement and improvement processes;
9. Supporting compliancy, approval and acceptance processes;
10. Supporting inspection and testing of the automation control equipment of the train and the interfaces with E&M systems;
11. Assisting inspecting and testing the performance of all operational facilities at each station (platforms, CCTV, PSD, etc.), and other facilities at the station (elevators, and mechanical or firefighting facilities);
12. Assisting in test driving examination;
13. Ensuring that all tests, including performance testing are in compliance with SPC procedures.
14. Reviewing and analysing spare parts.
Requirements
Must have
15. Professional experience of at least 15 years in Engineering Companies or Design Firms, for activities similar to those described above within subways, light railways, tramways projects;
16. Master's Degree (MSc.) in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
17. Full proficiency in English language, with excellent ability to read technical texts and a good ability in writing and speaking. Knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus;
18. Relation skills, attitude to teamwork, dynamism, autonomy, initiative and tenacity;
19. Good knowlege of international technical codes and regulations;
20. Availability for short/long trips abroad.
