Deal Advisory is the KPMG Advisory line of services that helps companies create value by evaluating the risks and opportunities of corporate finance transactions, facilitating the various stages of the deal, and identifying critical aspects to streamline the process.
Our Restructuring services team assists clients in debt and industrial restructuring with financial advisory and/or support services to help them prepare business plans that stabilise the business and promote sustainable change. Our consultants are involved in debt restructuring, distressed M&As, and lender advisory activities for multinationals, family-run enterprises, private equity funds, and financial institutions. Our team, known for the quality and scope of its projects, received the Finance Community Award for Italian “Restructuring Team of the Year” in 2022, recognizing professional excellence.
We are recruiting candidates for our Rome office who are ready to challenge themselves in a demanding and stimulating environment.
Specifically, you will be tasked with:
1. Analyzing the financial performance of target companies to identify their actual financial situation;
2. Financial modelling and business planning;
3. Independent business reviews of business plans;
4. Commercial and operational due diligence;
5. Negotiation with main stakeholders (financial institutions and investors);
6. Distressed M&As (with industrial partners, investment funds, etc.);
7. Cash management and turnarounds;
8. Cost cutting analysis and organizational improvement.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
This is an ideal opportunity if you have:
1. 2-3 years of experience in financial restructuring, company crisis, and/or corporate finance;
2. A degree in business with a focus on finance/AFC and/or engineering management (for finance);
3. Excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad;
4. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
