We are headquartered in Milan, Italy, and have offices in France, UK, Albania, US, and Hong Kong.
We are looking for a Controller to lead and oversee the financial controlling activities across all entities within our Group.
You will play a critical role in providing accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and enabling data-driven decision-making at the executive level. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders, to support the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
How you will contribute
The Group Controller will report into the Group’s CFO, and will have responsibility over the following:
* Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
* Ensure timely and accurate group-level financial and group-wide reporting.
* Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts across business units.
* Analyze financial performance and key variances; deliver insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Partner with the CFO and other executives to support long-term planning and strategic decision-making.
* Ensure robust internal controls, financial processes, and KPIs are in place across the Group, integrating and harmonizing information flow within newly acquired subsidiaries.
* Support audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects such as ERP upgrades, automation, and performance improvement initiatives.
How you will succeed:
* 7-10 years of experience in controlling or FP&A, ideally in international or multi-entity environments. Previous consulting experience followed by senior roles in high-growth or investor-backed companies is a strong plus.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and/or local GAAP).
* Proven experience in group consolidation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
* Comfortable navigating matrix organizations and cross-border collaboration.
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI).
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen
* Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
* Fluent Italian and English
* Experience with capital markets, investor relations, or M&A is a strong plus
