Ph3Application Engineer – ERS /h3 pFor an assignment at a prestigious Automotive company, we are looking for an application engineer who will oversee the performance and reliability of the Energy Recovery System (ERS) in both test bench and track environments. Reporting to the Bench or Track Application Team Leaders, the ERS Application Engineer will bring a system‑level mindset, with responsibility for the integration and tuning of batteries, inverters and electric motors. The role also offers direct involvement in selected component developments, working closely with RD teams in a fast‑paced, high‑performance Motorsport context. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop a deep understanding of the ERS system, from physical components and electrical layouts to software logic and strategic deployment. /li liWork closely with Application Leaders, Component Technical Leaders and System Engineers to analyse test results and overall system behaviour. /li liInterpret software, component and test specifications, defining and executing validation tests on engine benches and on track. /li liFollow selected system developments, performing data analysis and producing structured technical reports. /li liSupport engine test bench activities related to ERS issues. /li liMonitor long endurance engine tests, focusing on system tuning, component validation and ERS strategy optimisation. /li liContribute to race preparation, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. /li liProvide on‑track technical support during test sessions and races, with responsibility for ERS performance and reliability. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liMaster’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Electronic Engineering). /li liStrong team player with a high level of autonomy, responsibility and ownership. /li liWillingness to travel and support track activities, including race weekends. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across different seniority levels. /li liMethodical and structured approach to tools, processes and engineering practices. /li liKnowledge of MATLAB / Simulink is a plus. /li liFamiliarity with MAT (McLaren Applied Technologies) systems is an advantage. /li liFluent English is mandatory; readiness to learn Italian is expected. /li /ul h3What You’ll Find /h3 ul liA highly competitive Motorsport environment, where technology, performance and innovation are at the core. /li liDirect exposure to track and race activities. /li liContinuous interaction with multidisciplinary engineering teams. /li liThe opportunity to work on cutting‑edge hybrid powertrain technologies at the highest level of automotive performance. /li /ul pbLocation: /b Modena Province, Emilia‑Romagna (Italy) — with regular travel to test tracks and race venues. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
