Career Area:Information Technology Job Description As a Project Manager, in a Sales & Marketing team, you will require quick and correct identification of problems that may not be obvious. You will solve problems by determining the best course of action, within guidelines of the department or machine business division, from many existing solutions. In this role you will be empowered to determine the best way to complete job assignments to achieve desired results, while keeping sponsor and stakeholders up to date through regular reviews for complex or high impact situations. This position requires work to refine processes, procedures, or commercial solutions to ensure the best use of resources to meet the growth objectives and goals Duties and responsibilities: - Developing the business case & scope the program (Opportunity Mapping, Gap Analysis and Priority & Goal setting) - Identifying Market & Customer needs (Voice of Customer, Voice of Dealer) - Understanding of Cat Portfolio & Competitive Positioning (Product Value) - Streamlining Commercial Requirements (Price Positioning, Forecast) - Engaging collaboration between Global Construction Core / Global Construction Industry Segments and business partners (Excavation, Earthmoving Divisions supply chain) - Collaborating with Dealers (from systems integration, marketing, salesmen and supply chain) - Managing timeline and project milestones - Communicating progress to sponsor and stakeholders Moderate travel required (up to 20% of working time).
