As an accountant, you will be part of the “General Ledger” team that is in charge of:
🎯 TASKS
* Full GL Ownership: Oversee end-to-end General Ledger activities for the Italian legal entity, ensuring compliance with local and Group standards.
* International Accounting Support: Act as a point of contact for cross-border accounting flows and international projects, ensuring alignment between Italy and the Group HQ.
* Financial Reporting :Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
* Analytical Oversight: Conduct deep-dive analysis on financial data and intercompany reconciliations, transforming numbers into actionable insights.
* Operational Integrity: Support day-to-day accounting activities and act as a strategic backup during holiday periods to maintain business continuity and broaden your scope of expertise.
* Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
* Advanced Tax Compliance: Independently manage VAT, LIPE, and statutory filings, ensuring total accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Audit & Year-End Support: Provide high-level support to the Accounting Manager during the preparation of Financial Statements and Audit cycles.
👉 MUST HAVE skills
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and SAP and/or S/4HANA.
* Fluent English.
* Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.
* Ability to adapt yourself to work in a fast-paced environment.
👉 NICE TO HAVE skills
* Experience in financial audit (Big4 preferred).
* French language skills.
