Panoram Hotel Management is a hotel management company operating in Spain and Italy, with more than 20 properties and ongoing projects under international brands such as Hilton, IHG, and Accor. Our model combines innovation, technology, and scalable strategies to deliver efficient, results-oriented management with a strong focus on talent development and operational excellence.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the conversion of an existing hotel into a newly branded international property in Roma (Italy). This role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with strong luxury, F&B, MICE, and leisure experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead daily hotel operations with a strong hands-on approach, ensuring an excellent guest experience and full compliance with Hilton brand standards.
* Oversee a focused-service property, ensuring efficient management of Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping, and limited F&B operations.
* Drive commercial performance through occupancy, RevPAR, and cost control, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
* Actively support front-line operations when needed, maintaining a visible and approachable presence for both guests and team members.
* Foster a positive team culture, focusing on engagement, training, and multi-skilling of staff in a lean operational environment.
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with a strong focus on service quality, cleanliness, and brand consistency.
* Monitor guest feedback and online reputation, implementing continuous improvement actions.
* Guarantee compliance with legal, safety, and audit requirements.
* Act as the main point of contact with ownership and Hilton representatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational goals.
Qualifications
* Native Italian speaker.
* Fluent English is mandatory.
* Previous experience as a General Manager in similar properties (focused-service or 3-star hotels) will be highly valued
* Strong operational background in Rooms division (Front Office & Housekeeping).
* Experience in lean team structures and cost-efficient environments.
* Hands-on leadership style with high adaptability and problem-solving skills.
* Good financial and analytical capabilities with a focus on cost control and performance.
* Experience with international brands is a plus.
* Degree in Hospitality Management or similar is valued.
