We are transforming from a world‑renowned single destination into a diverse hospitality group ( Blue Lagoon Group ) with a portfolio that spans spa and lagoons, luxury hotels, Michelin‑starred dining, skincare, and adventure tourism in the Highlands.
We are building a Digital Marketing Growth Team —a specialized unit operating within the group to drive growth via digital channels. We combine data, technology, and creativity to maximize both business value and end‑user experience.
The Team & The Setup You will be joining a cross‑functional Italian/Icelandic team. We work remotely and on‑site, blending the agility of a startup with the resources of an iconic global brand. Our focus is pure Digital Marketing Growth: we experiment, we measure, and we optimize.
This position is based at Blue Lagoon Design Milano, our strategic Italian hub. Located in Milan, this office gathers top Italian talent to develop design and marketing strategies that connect our Icelandic destinations with a global audience. You will work on campaigns targeting key international markets (including the US and Europe), bridging the best of Milanese design culture with Icelandic innovation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Growth Data Analyst to manage the technical infrastructure of our marketing data. This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about the "how" and "why" behind data collection. You will pair technical resourcefulness with a desire to learn complex systems. Reporting to the Senior Growth Lead, you will receive hands‑on mentorship while contributing immediately to our data accuracy. We value efficiency and innovation; the use of AI to accelerate coding and problem‑solving is fully supported.
Your Duties
* Data Integrity & Compliance: Oversee the performance data pipeline to ensure all ad interactions are tracked securely and compliantly.
* Technical Implementation: Execute and troubleshoot tracking tags (GTM, GA4, Meta CAPI). You will serve as the primary troubleshooter for data discrepancies.
* Reporting Development: Aggregate raw data and develop clear, insightful reports using visualization platforms (Looker Studio, PowerBI) or scripting languages (Python).
* Decision Support: Provide the Growth Team with verified data to drive high‑impact budgetary decisions.
Qualifications
* Experience Level: Junior (Fresh Graduate – 1 year of experience)
* Web Fundamentals: Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and database concepts is essential.
* Analytical Skills: Advanced capability in Excel/Sheets is required. Interest in developing SQL and Python skills is expected.
* Problem‑Solving Orientation: A structured approach to debugging and a refusal to accept incorrect data.
* Tech‑Savviness: Demonstrated ability to learn new software and platforms quickly.
Contract & Logistics
Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term full‑time contract with significant potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and project evolution.
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
Location: Milan office with required availability to travel to Iceland for workshops and team sprints.
Start Date: We aim to start as soon as possible but are happy to accommodate a standard notice period for the right candidate.
Language: Fluent English is a must; you will be communicating daily with international stakeholders.
