Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.As Vessel Field Engineer you will be part of the TLVECOP2/Offshore Operation Department within the Asset Based Services business line, assigned to the following activities.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering services to the Project Manager or the Offshore Construction Manager to support the achievement of project objectives, following the plan and procedures developed by the project team, specifically.Work in close contact with and report to the Offshore Construction Manager.Carry out all tasks assigned by the Offshore Construction Manager, in direct contact with the Offshore Construction Assistant, the vessel captain, and the chief engineer.Provide engineering support onboard the vessel, performing activities within your area of responsibility while ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements (QA/QC and HSE).Ensure the application of engineering procedures during construction activities.Monitor construction/installation progress to ensure an adequate level of operational quality.Manage the Daily Progress Report to track and record actual activities versus planned ones.Verify subcontractor performance and assess their operational effectiveness.Collaborate with project personnel and onboard managers to ensure smooth work preparation and operations.Supervise onshore yard activities related to structures to be installed offshore.Collaborate with the marine asset management team regarding fleet vessel monitoring.Coordinate with the Client's technical representative on all engineering matters.Perform all necessary technical field checks.Draft documentation related to installation methods (when requested by the office).Draft documentation related to maintenance methods (when requested by the office).QualificationsEducation: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Naval, Mechanical, or Civil EngineeringBackground: 0-2 yearsLanguages: English (B2)Technical Knowledge and Soft Skills: Microsoft Office Suite; resilience; stress management; ability to work in a multicultural environmentWhat else should you know?Availability for offshore rotations is mandatory.What we can offerTemporary ContractCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Location: abroad construction vesselsFind out more on our career page and our Instagram profile.#J-18808-Ljbffr
