Job Duties:
* Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
* Work with development teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
* Create automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates for provisioning and management.
* Monitor and optimize AWS resource performance, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization.
* Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption.
* Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure performance.
* Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices; recommend their adoption.
* Define and implement cloud governance policies, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
* Participate in designing hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent required.
Experience:
* At least 4 years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
* Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash.
* Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, VPC, Security Groups.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
* Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
* Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
* Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, Prometheus).
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in Agile environments preferred.
