Junior Brand Activation Manager – Personal Care brands
The aim of the brand activation team is to ensure market-leading excellence in execution towards shopper, customer and final consumer on a given portfolio of Personal Care brands.
This position reports into Senior Brand Activation Manager and is based at Pomezia – Santa Palomba (Rome).

What You Will Do
The Junior Brand Activation Manager Personal Care is responsible for:
1. Develop and implement Local Brand Activation Plans:
Accountable for developing & deploying annual Brand Activation Plans per brand for the Italian market (Strategy, Channel Strategy, Big initiatives, Priorities, Pricing, NPIs, Distribution Targets, Activation Plans, BMEs allocation per brand, NTS target per brand, Market trends, Sell out estimate, Market Share estimation, Building Blocks).
Responsible & Accountable to ensure Perfect in-store activation (Must Stock List for Key Initiatives, Priority List, Manage/Develop & Monitor In-store POP materials/Theme Events - National & Tailor Made per Category & Brand, planograms creation & updates, Category management planning, execution of initiatives etc.).
Own local Brand Activity Overview and secure synchronization of consumer and shopper/trade activities; Build robust selling story to boost sales in Mass channel.
Be informed about Media strategy and have a consulting role in the media process (Media plan and communication brief, Media Plan & Flow charts, Local Connection Planning: provide input on local requirements).
Responsible and accountable to prepare & deliver presentations and promotional plans to Sales teams, Customers / Distributors.
Accountable for E-Commerce strategy implementation (in close collaboration with E-Commerce team) and preparing materials/assets, driving synergies between online and offline activation.
Close collaboration with Professional Marketing to support HCP detailing, following Professional Marketing & Brand strategy.
1. The local BTL budget (BME):
Input to budget process and target setting, tracking and any recommendations for investment shifts.
1. Monitor the Market / Insights:
Be responsible and accountable for monitoring the tracking of competition and key agreed performance KPIs.
Responsible for in-depth Market Share Tracking and relevant actions with the Sales Team and Hub Brand Teams respectively.
Provide Hub Marketing with competitive information (insights, trends, new competitors’ entry/NPIs, etc).
Continuous market screening & reporting to hub and local internal.
Align with hub on eventual local actions or need of support.
Provide input on primary research.
Initiate shopper-related research and action plan.
Be close to the market - ensure regular market/store visits to understand the environment & emerging trends.
1. Ensure high quality of local adaptation for customer & shopper marketing materials:
Be responsible and accountable for the Adaptation or creation for local brands all needed materials.
Responsible for Public Relations related to Press Releases (Review, change and/or validate the texts), Product Sending, PR Events (Local PR agency to share & review plan of PR event plan & all logistics with BA. BA KDM).
Have consulting role in artwork (Mastertext and the Final Artwork validation, changes if needed).
Provide local feedback for all Digital assets (websites and E-commerce). Communicate changes to Cluster marketing.
Provide feedback & share local requirements to Transcreation briefs be responsible for the approval of local translations and local specifications for all assets.
1. Act as local representative & work in close collaboration with Cluster Marketing & Business Development Managers:
Actively join & represent local point of view in the Cluster Squad sessions and drive business results.
Share best practice cases and seek opportunity to deploy activation ideas from other markets.
Input on local issues and requirements to brand strategy & brand plans.
1. Other Features of The Job:
Be key counterpart to local regulatory & supply chain team.
Provide feedback to cluster marketing on NPI/NPD (CIS form completion, NTS, MS, GtN, WD, Price, BMEs, GP, cannibalization, presentation to Sales team, …).
Responsible and accountable for rolling Forecast and being aligned with Supply Chain for NPIs, OOS, Discontinuations, POP stock, procedures, promotions, slobs.
Local portfolio management (agreed SKU-rationalization, phase-in and out).
Develop direct reports in terms of functional & leadership skills.
Support talent acquisition & others development.
Engage in transparent and constructive conversations, actively contributing to high-performance team performance.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
At least 1-2 years working related experience in the Mass business with proven track record of driving growth of FMCG brands.
Proficiency in English.
Computer Skills: professional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
