Responsibilities include mentoring faculty and students in proposal development, promoting external funding growth, overseeing pre-award processes, developing proposal narratives and budgets, reviewing contracts, and serving as a liaison with university offices and external agencies. /pulliDevelop and monitor work plans for funding during each academic year based on individual research agendas. /liliOversee the pre-award process, including funding opportunity identification and dissemination. /liliCreate and review proposal documents for compliance and quality. /liliManage contracts, awards, and sub-contracts. /liliCollaborate with university offices and external agencies for grants administration and development. /liliProvide policy consultation and support for sponsored projects. /liliMaintain records and reports related to grants activities. /liliGuide faculty and students in fellowship applications and grant opportunities. /liliMentor doctoral students and supervise research assistants. /liliLead initiatives to enhance sponsored project activities and promote a culture of integrity and excellence. /li /ulh3Minimum Education and Work Experience /h3ulliMaster’s degree in social or health sciences. /liliAt least 3 years of experience in advancement or sponsored programs in higher education. /liliAdministrative experience working with faculty on fundraising or grants. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliDoctoral degree in related social or health sciences. /liliFive or more years of relevant experience. /li /ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities /h3ulliKnowledge of funding agencies, proposal development, grants management, and compliance regulations. /liliStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. /liliAbility to work independently and innovatively. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pNo supervisory responsibilities or physical demands are noted for this position. The salary range is $75,000 to $82,928 annually.
