HHLA PLT Italy is a multipurpose maritime terminal started in 2021, located in the middle of the fast-growing North Adriatic market. Here, the Expansion Project Team, carried out by the company Logistica Giuliana, is planning and executing a game changer phased project aiming to integrate the current facility into a fully automated state-of-the-art container terminal, making use of the most advanced technologies and expertise. The Automation & IT Expert owns a part of the total automation solution from conceptualization to implementation. They review the operational flows and follows the Automation & IT requirements in close coordination with the Operations Implementation Team, the Safety team and the Asset team. They support documenting the solutions from a conceptual level down to the detailed technical solution that can be implemented. This implementation will be in close collaboration with the external equipment supplier and the internal teams.
