The role involves the proficient use of measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) and the use of a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The candidate will grow with training on the job and potentially become fully autonomous.Responsibilities
Control and verify mechanical drawings and dimensional specificationsApply precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMPerform metrology and measurement tasks for metalworking processes such as turning and millingEnsure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and other quality regulationsCollaborate with production teams to address quality and measurement issues
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of reading mechanical drawingsExcellent experience using measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)High level of metrological knowledgeFamiliarity with metalworking processes and machining operationsExperience with CMMUnderstanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirementsKnowledge of FANUC programming is desirable
