The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specialized in the recruitment of Middle and Senior Management profiles, is looking for a candidate on behalf of a leading company in the food sector for the position of:
Export Director – Europe
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and seek out new clients in the Foodservice, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade (GDO) channels;
* Identify and develop new business opportunities and manage existing clients within the sector;
* Monitor market trends and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making;
* Handle negotiations with key clients in the Food Service, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade sectors, including commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional activities;
* Analyze client needs and requests and ensure the sale of the company's various product categories;
* Ensure the achievement of revenue and profit margin targets;
* Prepare periodic reports on activities and results achieved;
* Managing a teamof junior sales and back office;
* Collaborate with production, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure operational excellence, and with the export and customer service teams for post-sales support.
Candidate Profile:
* At least 8 years of experience in a similar role is required;
* Previous experience in the food sector, specifically in cured meats and cold cuts, is mandatory;
* Strong knowledge of sales dynamics in the importer and specialized distributor sector, particularly in the HoReCa or GDO channels, is essential;
* Excellent command of the English language is required;
* Solid understanding of international markets and commercial operations;
* Strong businessdevelopment skills;
* Willingness to travel internationally;
