**Global Product Quality Manager**:

The Global Product Quality Manager has the role of selecting tools and methodologies to improve the overall quality of the product, fostering a culture of quality in design, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior products that exceed customer expectations. Reporting to the Global Quality Manager, you will create and deploy a system for product quality assurance, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB E-Mobility.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing, to establish comprehensive quality standards and guidelines for all products across different markets and regions.
- Develop and implement effective quality assurance processes and product testing protocols to identify and address potential product defects or issues proactively.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the global product specialist team assigned.
- Standardize testing strategy and test plans by product/software family.
- Implement improvements to process and recommend alternative testing as needed.
- Draft revises and approves product V&V; test plan in collaboration with RnD.
- Ensure that development processes and best-practices like Design for Six Sigma are executed in all development projects through a combination of coaching, project audits, and reviews.
- Assist the development teams to identify individual project quality risks, and to put in place enough risk mitigation measures.
- Consolidate preventative actions, lessons learned, and other process improvement measures derived from customer projects.
- Define and ensure that product design quality metrics are accurate, visible, and acted upon in the organization.
- Prepare and report a recurring product quality scorecard for leadership.
- Collaborate with SW Embedded team and Quality to define testing strategy by product family.
**Your background**:
- +5 years of experience in software quality assurance (automotive market is a plus).
- Demonstrated track record of accomplishment and passion for leading change and continuous improvement initiatives in software product quality.
- Experience planning, preparing for, and successfully executing ASPICE assessments and IATF/TS16949 audits (preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black (preferred) Belt certification, or in process of certification.
- Knowledge of Design For Six Sigma (DFSS).
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
