1. Responsible for the efficiency of the department
2. Define the technical department's strategy for the maintenance and support of the equipment
3. Plan and monitors the progress of maintenance, support, and equipment installation tasks
4. Supervise the upgrade, testing, inspection, and implementation of new equipment
5. Communicate with suppliers regarding equipment-related issues
6. Supervise the execution of quality checks on the equipment
7. Analyse and forecast the item needs for equipment maintenance so that purchases are made in a timely manner for better customer service and at the lowest cost.
8. Work with the Purchasing Manager for the procurement of necessary items/products for the department to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment traded by the company.
9. Work with the Sales Manager to better serve customers
10. Provide recommendations to the company's management regarding equipment issues
11. Develop and implement strategies for saving financial resources
12. Participate in meetings and conferences to stay informed about new market trends and to connect with suppliers
13. Ensure that the equipment complies with relevant laws and regulations
14. Supervise preventive maintenance and preventive on-site visits to ensure that the work is carried out in the most appropriate manner
15. Ensure that the machine histories are updated in the company's software
16. Ensure that the company's software is updated after communication with customers regarding equipment issues
17. Evaluate the equipment that the company trades and prepares reports to the Management
18. Evaluate suppliers regarding the adequacy of the information provided about the equipment and prepares reports for the Management
19. Responsible for drafting and preparing reports for clients regarding the equipment
20. Participate in meetings with suppliers
21. Supervise and resolve difficult customer issues and performs challenging maintenance and repairs
22. Supervise the creation of the department's executives' program
23. Set evaluation criteria for the department's staff
24. Set goals and KPIs for the department
25. Has overall responsibility for the evaluations of all department employees
26. Recognise the hiring needs for the department
27. Train, guide, and motivate the members of the department
28. Supervise and evaluate subordinates
29. Manage the department's budget
30. Know the company's products excellently
31. Represents the company at various events and forges strategic alliances
32. Design and oversee the implementation and updating of all policies and procedures of the Technical department, always keeping the company's overall strategy in mind
33. Adheres to the company's policies and procedures
34. Creates and maintains strong interpersonal relationships with clients and other stakeholders
35. Participate in the hiring process of employees in his department
36. Report the training needs of the technical department
37. Identify and approve educational needs for his department
38. Handle difficult and serious problems that arise in his department
39. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in various workshops, seminars, creating personal networks, etc
40. Oversee the maintenance of a safe, organised, and clean workspace

CANDIDATE PROFILE
42. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or another related field
43. Master’s degree in business administration, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or another related field
44. 5 years of experience in a similar position
45. Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages
46. Excellent knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
47. Excellent knowledge of the medical technology equipment market
48. Leadership and managerial skills
49. Excellent communication skills
