GSS - Tech Sourcing Recruiter AWS, WWAS TA C SourcingWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Tech Sourcer to support talent acquisition for Data Center Engineering and Infrastructure Operations roles across North America (USA). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical landscape for data center, facilities, and critical infrastructure roles, and will excel at identifying and engaging passive talent in the Tech domain.This is a contractual role. Locations: Hyderabad. Shift Timing: 6:00 pm – 3:00 am IST.Key job responsibilities
Data Center and Infrastructure Hiring – Experience sourcing for data center operations, critical facilities, or Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/IT infrastructure roles/ cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), with relevant Academic backgrounds including degrees or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, HVAC, Electrician trades, Facilities Maintenance, and IT-related Field will be required.Boolean and Advanced Search – Ability to create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards.Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent – Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields, ability to articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate. Also responsible for building strategies and brainstorming to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.
A day in the life
Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, filtering right candidates during recruiter phone screen.
About the teamThe role holder will be part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar-raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech and High volume space.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeExperience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelinesExperience in progressive corporate or search firm recruiting with a focus on passive engineering candidate generation in a high-tech market2+ years of passive candidate generation experienceExperience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.Boolean and Advanced Search
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management or related technical field.Prior experience sourcing for AWS, hyperscale cloud, or co-location Data Center environment.Experience in any 1 or 2 Tech hiring domain (Full stack, Back-end, Front-end engineers, Data Analytics including Data Scientist (AI/ML) and Engineers, understanding of any 2-3 Programming languages or key tech stacks like Python, Java, SQL, ETL, data pipelines, Hadoop, Spark, Big Data, or similar technical landscape).
