The Finance Manager directs and supervises administrative, financial and controlling activities in compliance with the regulations and accounting principles and with the civil and fiscal legislations. The employee will be responsible for controllership and accounting activities and team for Magna Lighting Italy and Lighting Parts. General Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting for the supported divisions, coordinating the accounting team
- In charge of controllership for the supported divisions, coordinating dedicated resources.
- Guarantee timely detection, correctness and availability of administrative and accounting information for the division management and the Group..
- Establish the budget and/or consolidated accounts.
- Execute all tangible assets activities.
- Defines the company's financial strategy to obtain financial resources. and ensure business development over the medium to long term.
- Analyse macroeconomic trends, make forecasts and long-term projections, and identify opportunities for business expansion. Leadership Responsibilities
- Coordinates 3+ direct reports including supervisor.
- Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Magna’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating, rewarding and managing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems and establishing an effective Succession Coaches, mentors and develops team members. Guides and motivates the team toward a shared vision and strategic objectives.
- Where needed, hires and on-boards new team members, and engage with external contractors and consultants.
- Plans and assigns workload and activities.
- Monitors and manages team presence to ensure coverage for all activities. Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
- Ensures all safety and non-safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Reviews and adheres to MML’s health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, operating procedures, and policies.
- Responds immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues.
- Understands and upholds the policies that prohibit workplace violence and harassment. Job Requirements: - Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related studies.
- Knowledge of Intrastat Procedures, SOX and Accounting Principles, VAT and Tax.
- Proficient in Financial Statement.
- SAP Proficiency.
- Fluent Italian and English Knowledge.
