Responsibilities: Work with the team to build an extensible and modular publishing platform that consolidates and manages all BurdaForward portfolio brands. Design the module architecture and develop features for the publishing framework. Onboard new brands and in-house development teams to the framework. Maintain and continuously improve the codebase. Help develop processes to ensure high software quality and usability for others. Take responsibility for maintaining a high-quality technical framework. What we expect from you: Strong experience in building web applications and APIs using Node.js and backend frameworks like Express. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS Lambda, ECS, SQS/SNS, S3, or similar. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or similar frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container systems like Docker. Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB. Basic knowledge of testing applications with unit and integration tests. Nice to have: Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, Angular, or Svelte. Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with international and remote teams. Good English communication skills.
