During your journey you will continue learning within a training itinerary for the development of technical skills and competencies. We enable you to develop and apply solid technical as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Throughout the program, a mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support you to successfully advance in all these areas. You will follow more than 300 hours of theoretical and practical trainings with external providers on several subjects such as electric and electronic (EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly), automation and robotics (PLC programming, Python and SQL basics), project management and communication. At the end of the program, you will be fully trained to be eligible for an Automation Engineer position in our maintenance teams. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork in a hands‑on manner to actively monitor, fault‑find, and repair systems to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers. /li liTrain technicians on the basics of control systems fault‑finding to raise the level of knowledge within the site. /li liWork within the EU Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers through troubleshooting and prioritizing. /li liActively participate or own continuous improvement projects coordinated by the EU Controls network. /li liWork with IT, EU Controls Engineering and Operations Engineering to ensure all systems are correctly documented and that accurate backup libraries are maintained. /li /ul pShift Pattern: This role includes working in a non‑traditional shift pattern, which might include nights and weekends. This position does not include remote‑working options. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liAge between 18 and 29 years old. /li liBachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or pursuit of one before the start of the program. /li liFluent in Italian with good written and verbal communication skills. /li liEnglish at Level B2 or higher written and verbal. /li liAbility to understand and follow verbal or written technical instructions. /li liPassion for automation and engineering and desire to start a career in this area. /li liMotivated with a practical approach. /li liCommitment to learn, develop, and get involved. /li liKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel). /li liProactive, open to acquiring new knowledge and skills. /li liTeam player able to build relationships with others. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in electrical engineering or related fields. /li liProject management experience. /li liSoftware developer experience. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
