We are looking for a motivated Junior HR Generalist to support personnel administration and day‑to‑day HR operations, contributing to accurate HR data management, compliance with labor regulations, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage personnel administration activities through digital HR tools, including Workday, a cloud‑based platform for integrated Human Resources management.
* Support onboarding and offboarding administrative processes, including collection of documentation, completion of paperwork, and guidance on company policies and procedures.
* Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and applicable labor regulations.
* Prepare and manage HR reports and presentations to support monitoring activities (e.g. absenteeism, headcount, training records).
* Provide direct support to employees on HR administrative topics, including:
o Reading and verification of time and attendance records
o Support in the correct use of company absence codes and justifications
* Support training‑related activities, including:
o Scheduling training sessions and workshops
o Maintaining training documentation and records
o Preparing HR documentation required for funded training programs
* Assist in the implementation and application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with labor laws, data protection regulations, and company guidelines.
* Collaborate with HR colleagues, Payroll, and internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day HR operational activities and cross‑functional HR projects.
Requirements
* Previous experience (including internships or traineeships) in HR Administration, Personnel Management or HR Generalist roles .
* Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
* Italian native or fluent.
* English minimum B2 level (written and spoken).
* Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel ; familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday is a strong plus).
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills.
* Good communication skills and a service‑oriented approach towards employees.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
* Knowledge of Italian labor law and CCNL Metalmeccanico is considered a plus.
