Ensures resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure supporting applications developed for maritime business. The Infrastructure Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability systems and drive innovation in operational technology. /ph3CORE RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliCoordination of end‑to‑end ship infrastructure delivery in close collaboration with Shipbuilding engineering and yard operations. /liliDatacenter installation and maintenance responsibilities (compute, storage, networking; lifecycle, capacity, continuity). /liliDeploy, manage, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms, including provisioning, cluster lifecycle operations, and edge/ship environments /liliEnsure seamless integration between shipboard OT systems and onboard/cloud IT platforms, following maritime safety, cybersecurity, and operational standards. /liliImplement infrastructure-as-code, GitOps workflows, and automation pipelines to streamline deployment, configuration, and platform updates. /liliMonitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery for shipboard and cloud workloads. /liliCollaborate with solution architects, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure with project goals. /liliEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for scalability, security, and efficiency /li /ulh3COMPETENCES AND WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR /h3ulli5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant exposure to edge computing, hyperconverged systems, or distributed compute platforms. /liliProven experience with Kubernetes orchestration, preferably with SUSE Rancher, Harvester, or equivalent edge/virtualization platforms. /liliProven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments. /liliSolid understanding of OT protocols, industrial networks, and security best practices. /liliExperience with IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux). /liliStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. /liliExcellent communication and collaboration abilities. /liliUnderstanding operational needs and aligning infrastructure solutions to business goals /liliTaking initiative in projects, driving improvements, and ensuring high availability and resilience /liliFluent in English and Italian /li /ulh3NICE TO HAVE /h3ulliExperience in maritime, aerospace, defense, or industrial edge-computing sectors. /liliCertifications related to Kubernetes, cloud engineering, or virtualization (CKA, Rancher, AWS/Azure). /liliAbility to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile development environments. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
