H3Overview /h3pThe role is reporting directly to the Maintenance Reliability Leader, the Automation Specialist will have to develop the strategy of the industrial automation operating systems of the site to optimize utilization of resources and increasing reliability of the production lines. This role also have to carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities of automation and instrumentation of the site, in order to guarantee a good performance of the production lines; avoiding unplanned downtimes ensuring safety procedures of the company compliance. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop and improve strategy for automated industrial processes, systems and components /liliEnsure high reliability in all automation systems of the industrial site /liliTroubleshooting, diagnosis and repair industrial automation systems to reduce unscheduled downtimes /liliPerform preventive and predictive maintenance in industrial automation systems /liliCollaborate with other departments to ensure automation system reliability, standardization and safety /liliSupport all the potential suppliers during field visits and scope definition. /liliManagement of automation maintenance plans working closely with the Electrical Reliability SME and the Reliability Program Owner. /liliPlan automation works of maintenance, operation and safety. Including evaluation of technicians availability, spare parts, etc. in order to carry out the requested work. As well as the task of dealing technical specifications relating to the work to be carried out in order to request quotes and offers from multiple suppliers in the planning/feasibility phase of the activity /liliAnalyze system performance and suggest modifications or upgrate /liliDevelop and maintain technical documentation for industrial automation systems /liliCollaborate with Electrical Specialist and Electrical Coordinator to monitor the obsolescence of components and software; set spare parts strategy /liliPartecipate actively in continuos improvement initiatives (RCA, Kaizen, etc.) /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliHigh technical education on automation of production processes /liliBackground: Engineering, Electrical, Automation, Computer Science or similar field /lili3 – 5 years of experience as Automation Specialist/Engineer /liliKnowledge PLC (Siemens-ABB), Scada, HMI, frequency drives, PI Vision, automation programming /liliSolid understanding of computer programming and software development /liliSolid understanding of electrical diagram /liliStrong orientation to problem-solving /liliLanguage: English and German is a plus /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
