Role Summary
We are looking for a General Manager to help lead and scale a group of digital education businesses at the intersection of community, online learning, AI, and higher education.
The role will cover Docsity, WeUni and OPIT – Open Institute of Technology, delivering structure, operational discipline and execution to a fast‐growing EdTech ecosystem.
The Role
You will help scale a portfolio combining:
OPIT – Open Institute of Technology, an accredited online higher education institution focused on applied technology degrees
Docsity, a large‐scale student platform evolving from a document marketplace to an AI‐native learning platform
WeUni, a B2B education and lead‐generation platform serving universities and higher education institutions
Your mission will be to drive sustainable growth, strengthen product‐market fit, improve execution across teams, and build a more structured, scalable, high‐performing organization.
What You'll Own
Define and execute product‐led, community‐led and commercially driven growth strategies
Strengthen engagement, retention and monetization across the student ecosystem
Bring structure to product, marketing, sales, operations and customer experience
Build clear KPI frameworks, operating rhythms and scalable processes
Drive execution across product roadmaps, growth initiatives and commercial priorities
Identify and develop synergies across the platforms
Act as a strong external representative towards partners and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in digital products, platforms, marketplaces or user‐based businesses
Solid background in product‐led growth, digital marketing, community and retention
Experience managing P&L, budgets, KPIs and cross‐functional teams
Strong execution skills and ability to turn strategy into measurable results
Understanding of AI‐enabled products for learning experiences
Exposure to B2B sales, partnerships or institutional business development
Strong people leadership and ability to manage senior, diverse teams
Excellent communication skills and international exposure
Fluency in English; Italian is also important for the role
Availability to work from Turin, with travel when needed
Nice to Have
Experience in EdTech, online learning or higher education
Experience with user‐generated content platforms or communities
Exposure to subscription models, digital monetization or marketplace dynamics
Technical or STEM background
Experience in regulated or accreditation‐driven environments
