Your Impact\nThe Senior Compliance Investigator will work under the supervision of the Head of Corporate Compliance and will:\nConduct independent investigations into compliance issues, allegations of misconduct, and breaches of company policies, laws or regulatory requirements.\nPerform comprehensive Compliance audits of internal processes, controls, and records to identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance.\nGather, analyse, and document evidence, conducting interviews and reviewing documentation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of investigations.\nPrepare clear and detailed investigation reports, presenting findings and recommended corrective actions to senior management.\nCollaborate cross-functionally and interact with the various departments to ensure investigations are thorough and consistent with organizational policies.\nStay abreast of compliance and audit best practices, regulatory developments and their potential impact on MSC Cruises’ operations.\nMonitor the status of corrective actions and follow up to ensure remediation is completed effectively.\nYour Journey so far\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field coupled with relevant certifications (e.g. CIA, CFE, CCEP).\nMinimum of 7 years of proven experience in internal audit, compliance or other investigative roles.\nDemonstrated expertise in conducting complex audits and analysis of accounting and financial records within an international corporate environment.\nYour Essentials\nHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.\nStrong knowledge of auditing standards, regulatory and compliance frameworks, and ethical guidelines.\nProficiency with audit management systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple investigations or audits simultaneously.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare precise reports and present findings to stakeholders.\nFull Professional Proficiency in oral and written English. Other European languages are advantageous.
