POSITION We are looking for a Marketing and Communication Intern to support OPIS Business and Development Unit and assist with various tasks within the marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to build a career within the Marketing field. You will be able to participate in the practical aspects of our Marketing and Communication team and gain valuable knowledge. The successful applicant will be fluent in English and have good communication and organizational skills as well as a scientific background. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES The Marketing and Communication Intern assists with the following activities: - Optimizing online content to ensure high-quality traffic is generated and converted into leads. - Supporting the implementation of the Communication Strategy and the outline of plans for projects and initiatives. - Providing ad-hoc scientific support, in particular in approaching the researchers’ target group, by providing suitable content, fostering public relations, etc. - Supporting the creation of websites and related content. - Organizing events and campaigns, and contributing to the drafting of communication work packages and project proposals. - Supporting OPIS participation in scientific events and exhibitions and significant conferences, as well as taking care of the selection and design of scientific content and programs. - Offering support within the monitoring and organisation of the budget, contracts, outputs, and related KPIs. - Managing OPIS Community Platform. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS - Ability to create and edit multimedia content (photography, video, graphics, animated, etc.) for Social Media and other digital channels. - Strong ability to conceptualize and create daily content for Social Media channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter). - Proven organization and communicative skills, capable of working in teams and to tight deadlines, in international environments. - Knowledge of graphic tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc) - Experience in liaising with media and with own media contact list. - Experience in scientific writing (i.e. articles, presentations, proposals) - Experience with Microsoft OfficePackage - Detail-oriented and with a creative mind - Strong Communication skills - Fluent in English ABOUT US Founded in 1998 in Italy and now operating at an international level, OPIS is a full-service science-driven biotech-focused CRO providing premium trial management for multi-country clinical trials, including state-of-the-art information technology solutions and innovative approaches to the increasing complexity and variety of current projects.
