As a Clinical Research Associate, you will join the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence.
We are currently recruiting experienced Clinical Research Associates (CRAs & Senior CRAs) in Bulgaria to work on studies related to diabetes, obesity, and rare blood and endocrinology conditions.
This CRA role is dedicated to a single client, where you will work exclusively on one sponsor's trials and SOPs. The client values their staff and emphasizes career development.
Responsibilities include:
* Initiating, monitoring, and closing sites in clinical studies, ensuring compliance with sponsor procedures, ICH-GCP guidelines, and local regulations.
* Acting as the primary contact between site staff and the sponsor.
* Performing on-site monitoring visits, documenting actions, and following up on action plans.
* Conducting site feasibility visits and analyzing site logistics, personnel performance, and patient recruitment strategies.
* Training and guiding site staff on protocols, trial procedures, and safety information handling.
* Identifying risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
* Collaborating with Data Management and logistics teams to resolve queries.
* Managing essential documents and supporting filing and archiving in the Investigator Trial Master File (ITMF).
* Participating in Investigator Meetings and maintaining good relationships with sites.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
* 6-12 months of experience in independent on-site monitoring of clinical trials.
* Ability to work occasionally from the sponsor's office.
* Strong relationship-building skills with site staff.
* High focus on quality and delivery.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
