Overview We’re one of Europe’s largest and best known airlines, so we need a vibrant Press Office and PR team to ensure that we can deliver communication campaigns, improve brand positioning, and protect and enhance the reputation of the company wherever we operate. As our new Press Officer you’ll help us achieve that by co-ordinating the company’s corporate communications strategy in Italy - reactively answering and managing enquires, writing and issuing press releases and proactively contributing to the execution of PR campaigns and events. Reporting to the European Public Relations & Public Affairs Manager for Southern Europe, you’ll be also be working as part of the wider easyJet external communications department. This is an opportunity that will offer you international coverage, the chance to travel, and give you access to high-level stakeholders. Responsibilities Co-ordinate the company’s corporate communications strategy in Italy. Reactively answer and manage inquiries. Write and issue press releases. Proactively contribute to the execution of PR campaigns and events. Collaborate with the wider easyJet external communications department. Qualifications Experience of working with the Italian national and regional media, as well as online and on social media. Full proficiency in Italian and English. Excellent writing skills with the ability to convert technical information into simple, understandable language. Strategic mindset with a sleeves-rolled-up approach and ability to react quickly when needed while communicating corporate and social values. Recent graduates with strong interpersonal skills and an interest in pursuing an international comms career will be considered.
