Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Quality Champion) What You Will Do
Act as the quality reference for one or more software product teams Support teams in tailoring and applying the RFOC software development and quality processes Help define and track quality milestones (reviews, test readiness, release readiness, KPIs, etc.) Contribute to process compliance with internal procedures and applicable safety/security requirements Coordinate and support internal and external audits (preparation of evidence, follow‑up of actions) Review key work products (requirements, design, tests, reports) from a quality perspective Promote best practices (reviews, test strategy, traceability, configuration management, CI/CD, automation) Collaborate closely with developers, project leaders and other stakeholders to balance effort and quality goals Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes, methods and tools, based on feedback and lessons learned
Who You Are
You have a background in software (e.g. Software Engineer, Embedded Developer, Tester, System Engineer) and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience in software quality assurance, process, audits or safety/security is a plus; otherwise you show strong motivation to learn and grow quickly in this direction. You are comfortable discussing technical topics (e.g. requirements, design, tests, code) with development teams. You have a structured and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and robustness. You demonstrate strong communication and relational skills and you enjoy working transversally with multiple teams. You are able to negotiate and influence to find realistic compromises between quality, effort and planning. You are curious, open to feedback and willing to continuously improve both your skills and the way we work. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; French or other languages are a plus depending on your location.
