Specialised Systems Engineer (SSE) – LanEdge (Rome or Milan)

This role covers all of Italy and Malta, and we can consider applicants based in either Milan or Rome. As a Specialised Systems Engineer (SSE) – LanEdge, you will act as the center of excellence for our LanEdge solutions, including Switch, Access Point, and Network Access Control, within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre‑sales activities for the LanEdge platform and design and implement best practices
- Maintain knowledge of competitive products and services
- Respond to industry analyst inquiries and become the trusted advisor for our complete LanEdge platform
- Attend customer meetings and provide expert opinion on LanEdge design and architecture
- Publish reference architectures for specific use cases
- Dedicate a percentage of your time to ongoing training and education for new technologies
- Help drive technical webinars and hands‑on demos
- Publish public information such as white papers and blogs on relevant technology topics
- Participate in continuous active networking within the industry to build relationships and awareness
- Lead client and partner engagement in collaboration with internal account teams
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience and success in roles such as Systems Engineer, Consulting SE, or Network Security Solution Architect
- In‑depth knowledge and technical sales experience in network and security environments
- Comfortable in public speaking with strong presentation and demo skills
- Strong documentation and technical writing capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross‑functional environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
graduate degree is favorable
