For our Milan office, reporting to our Head of Finance, we are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support the vendor payable process, payments and collection, invoices from Fee Earners. Main responsibilities 1. Vendor Payable - _Accrual reconciliation_ - Prepayment reconciliation - _T&E_ - SDI management - Coding GL process - _Managing the relationship with Delhi Team_ - Creating new vendors in the system 2. Fee Earners AP invoices - Invoice creation - Checks with external information - Meeting with relevant stakeholders - Getting approvals 3. Other Activities - Cash collection activities - Fee Earners credit card management - Support to Month end closing - Support to existing and future projects - Support during IA process Skills, Qualifications & Experience The successful applicant will: - Be familiar with global professional services firm mechanisms - Be an Italian native speaker and be fluent in English, both oral and written - Be a team player, able to work under pressure and to deal with demanding internal clients - Background in Finance - Preference is given to people with a previous experience as Accounting Specialist About the Firm and the Italy Offices We were one of the first international law firms to open offices in Italy - Rome in 1993 and Milan in 1994.
