Within the Program & Development Team and following its governance and methodology guidelines, the Intermodal Functional Business Analyst plays a key role in the rollout, testing, implementation, and maintenance of our software applications, ensuring alignment with MSC’s strategic objectives and business requirements.
He/she provides leadership and analytical expertise throughout the entire software development and rollout life cycle, ensuring that all deliverables meet business needs, operational standards, and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to the definition, design, and delivery of local and global software solutions in alignment with the company’s standard processes.
* Conduct Gap Analysis to identify discrepancies between existing agency processes and the standard framework, providing actionable recommendations.
* Facilitate requirements elicitation, documentation of use cases, and business rules to support system configuration and development.
* Manage and lead training workshops and knowledge transfer sessions for agency teams and stakeholders.
* Support organizational change management at agency (subsidiary) level to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
* Provide inputs to the headquarters for process standardization and optimization across the organization.
* Collaborate with the Rollout Management Team to monitor progress, track deviations from plans, and ensure timely issue resolution.
* Be proactive and pragmatic in identifying solutions and improvements during the implementation phase.
* Produce detailed reports and documentation to keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and milestones.
Who you are :
* A business expert in intermodal freight transportation, with a strong understanding of logistics and intermodal operations.
* An experienced Business Analyst skilled in:
o Developing and managing Use Cases
o Writing and maintaining Business Rules
o Leading and facilitating Workshops
* Experienced in data modeling and business process analysis.
* Able to work collaboratively within a multinational environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong communicator, capable of translating technical details into business language and vice versa
