We are seeking an Associate with at least 2 years of experience in reinsurance accounting operations, ideally within Treaty business and across multiple lines of business. This is a full-time, hybrid work model .
? Max Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €40,000
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an insurance company, reinsurance broker, or reinsurance firm
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to read and interpret insurance/reinsurance contracts
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
* Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
? Key Responsibilities
* Book transactions, issue invoices, handle collections, and cash allocation
* Support the Finance Manager in monthly financial reporting, payments, and cash-flow analysis
* Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with controls
* Collaborate with underwriters to review complex reinsurance transactions
* Manage technical accounts : commission adjustments, profit commissions, premium revisions
* Record and reconcile reinsurance payables and receivables in the general ledger
* Follow up on open balances with ceding companies
* Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure all treaties are accurately accounted
* Participate in ad hoc projects and finance-related tasks
* Monitor and update brokerage revenue forecasts
