We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help us build solutions by providing high-quality data to improve Wellhub’s products and provide partner data to all areas of the company. /ppYou will join a team responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive database of information on our existing and potential partners. This includes discovering and collecting data from various sources and formats (text, photo, video, audio), processing and enriching this data, and transforming it into actionable insights that enhance partner content, user recommendations, business intelligence, and the overall quality of our platform. We expect all candidates to be avid learners, team workers, and not afraid to fail fast and try again. /ph3Your Impact /h3pbYou will be working in one or more of the following areas: /b /pulliWeb Crawling ScrapingulliHTTP requests /liliHTML parsing /liliDynamic scraping /lilibCrawling best practices /b /li /ul /liliOptical Character Recognition (OCR) /liliThird-Party API IntegrationulliREST APIs (authentication via tokens, OAuth, etc.) /liliGoogle Places API /liliMeta (Facebook Graph API) /lilibOpenStreetMap (Nominatim, Overpass API) /b /li /ul /liliData Processing TransformationulliData handling and cleaning /lilibData validation and modeling /b /li /ul /liliTesting Quality AssuranceulliUnit and integration testing /lilibMocking external APIs /b /li /ul /liliAPI Development and IntegrationulliDesign and develop APIs. /lilibEnsure APIs are secure, scalable, and performant. /b /liliEnsure seamless integration with other software systems, enhancing interoperability and functionality (e.g., WhatsApp, Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and other 3rd party mobile applications). /li /ul /liliCollaboration CommunicationulliWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers. /liliParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. /liliCommunicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to non-technical stakeholders. /li /ul /liliLive the missionulliInspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life balance. /li /ul /li /ulpbMain requirements /b /ppbWHO YOU ARE /b /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. /liliExpertise in technically leading a software engineering team. /liliStrong skills in programming languages such as Python, Go, Kotlin, or Java. /liliExperienced in working with SQL / NoSQL technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL) understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls. /liliExperience with API development and integration. /liliExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. /liliStrong communication and teamwork skills. /liliAble to work efficiently on highly scalable and distributed projects. /liliProven experience with projects where the scope is not clearly defined. /liliFaster learner, easily adapting to new technologies quickly and efficiently. /liliPassionate and proven experience to build reliable minimum viable products and pilots in a short amount of time. /li /ulpWe recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
