At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the company, and colleagues address and solve complex challenges. Our Advisory services include business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, management, and support in finance transactions.
Our Restructuring & Turnaround team assists clients in debt and industrial restructuring, providing financial advisory and support to stabilize businesses and promote sustainable change. Projects include debt restructuring, distressed M&A, and lender advisory for multinationals, family enterprises, private equity, and financial institutions.
As part of this team, you will work with leading Italian and international clients, contributing to high-quality projects recognized with awards such as the Finance Community Award for Italian “Restructuring Team of the Year”.
Based in Padua, your responsibilities will include:
1. Analyzing financial performance of target companies;
2. Assisting in identifying strategic recovery guidelines;
3. Financial modelling and business planning;
4. Negotiating with stakeholders (financial institutions, investors);
5. Handling distressed M&A activities;
6. Conducting independent business reviews;
7. Cash management and turnaround strategies.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
You will be actively involved from day one, engaging with key executives and working on diverse projects. The ideal candidate has:
* 2-4 years' experience in debt restructuring, corporate crisis, or finance;
* A degree in business, finance, or engineering management;
* Excellent English skills, preferably with international experience;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
* Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
* Motivation, enthusiasm, leadership, and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
