Role Description This full-time, on-site Room Service Manager role is based at San Clemente Palace Venice in Venice. The Room Service Manager oversees daily in-room dining operations, ensuring timely, courteous, and accurate service delivery to all guests. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating shift schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring service standards throughout the day. The role involves closely supervising room service staff, providing hands-on support during peak times, and resolving guest requests or issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction. The Room Service Manager collaborates with kitchen and front office teams to streamline communication, manage special requests, and support upselling initiatives. Additional duties include monitoring inventory and ordering supplies, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, training and coaching team members, and preparing basic reports on performance, guest feedback, and service quality.QualificationsStrong Room Service experience, with the ability to oversee in-room dining operations and ensure impeccable service.Supervisory Skills to lead, motivate, and schedule a diverse team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with a track record of responding to guest needs and resolving issues with professionalism.Training skills to onboard, coach, and develop team members in service standards, procedures, and safety practices.Previous experience in hotel or luxury hospitality settings, preferably in food and beverage management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.Working knowledge of hotel management and Micros systems and basic reporting tools is an advantage.Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially Italian, are highly beneficial.Contract until 31.10.2026.
