Everyone gets to push their potential to the full.Discover extraordinary* every day.Based in Caponago, Italy.Purpose & Main Priorities of the RoleThis role allows you to make a concrete impact within the R&D Team, gaining exposure to challenging, hands‐on projects while supporting multiple departments. You will contribute to Fedrigoni's ambitious growth and play an active part in the transformation of a fast‐evolving global company.Responsibilities
Monitor upcoming and existing regulations (REACh, food‐contact, environment & sustainability) and implement actions to keep products aligned with applicable requirements.Provide fast, precise regulatory guidance to internal teams and customers, ensuring transparent communication and market readiness.Engage with suppliers to collect and validate regulatory information on raw materials.Propose, design and commission tests for product characterization (fire classification, food contact, chemical characterization, etc.).Support R&D and marketing in evaluating product suitability for highly regulated or sustainability‐driven applications.Take an active role in the development of new self‐adhesive materials, by organizing workflows, monitoring trials, and performing laboratory and technical activities.Lead and support sustainability initiatives related to life‐cycle assessments (LCA) and eco‐design.
Qualifications
You have a degree or master's in chemistry or chemistry‐related disciplines or engineering.You are curious and eager to learn.You are interested in understanding the interface between technology and regulations.You are reliable, flexible and have great interpersonal skills.You have a strong customer orientation.You can handle and manage big quantities of data.You have a hands‐on approach to developing innovative solutions that generate insights for top management, enabling fact‐based, agile decision processes.You are fluent in Italian and English; Spanish will be considered a plus.
