About the role:
The EMEA H&S; Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that local Health & Safety management is in line with local, general regulations and the Health & Safety system. The EMEA H&S; Coordinator ensures risk management and the correct handling of risk situations through the implementation and management of the Health & Safety Committee. This person prepares appropriate results and analyses that provide an overview of the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring Compliance on Health & Safety issues.
- Preparing, managing, and updating the Health & Safety Management System.
- Preparing, managing, and updating the Health & Safety Committee.
- Identifying global risks and critical points and their impacts on the Health & Safety area, developing operating instructions and procedures in the area of Health & Safety, involving various company actors in various ways.
- Carry out verification of the documentation prepared by suppliers and the organization by supporting the activity locally in coordination with system procedures.
- Collaborate on and manage cross-training in Health & Safety.
- Support the definition of the "Provisions" necessary to eliminate any non-compliance in the field of Health & Safety and support the activation of corrective actions by verifying their implementation and effectiveness.
- Coordinating risk situations through common and shared procedures.
- Conducting Health & Safety Audit where necessary.
What we are looking for:
- Training in disciplines related to Health & Safety (ISO 45001; NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH training, etc).
- Knowledge of global rules and regulations is preferable.
- Knowledge of auditing procedures.
- Knowledge of English.
- Strong Operational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reporting skills.
