ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate for the Senior Data Scientist role at NTT DATA will possess a diverse skill set, including hands-on experience with Generative AI (preferably on Azure, GCP, and on-premise), engineering best practices, statistical expertise, and strong Machine Learning and Deep Learning skills. A solid business sense is also essential.The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders both internally and externally.They will be responsible for managing multiple projects, leading data science teams, and liaising with client stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project execution.Required Skills3-5 years of experience as a data scientistProficiency in Python (mandatory) and SQLKnowledge of Java/Scala or C++/R is a plusExperience with TensorFlow and PyTorch, focusing on Computer Vision solutionsUnderstanding of ML solutions architecture and Generative AI pipelinesExperience with cloud and hybrid ML implementationsAbility to incorporate cutting-edge business intelligence, machine learning, and alternative data practices to enhance organizational efficiency and revenueOwnership of end-to-end data science project lifecycle, from data wrangling to deploymentCollaboration with data engineers to develop production-ready pipelines, including data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and model training/predictionResearch and analysis into reinsurance and advisory products to improve industry models and develop new market offeringsEstablishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
