PpBased in our office in Carpi (MO), we are looking for a talented bShopify Platform Lead /b to join our bDigital team /b and play a strategic role in the evolution of our e-commerce ecosystem. /p pThis role represents an exciting opportunity for a technically strong professional who is eager to define the platform roadmap and act as a key bridge between business strategy and technical execution. /p pThe bLead Shopify Platform /b will be responsible for the overall Shopify architecture, development governance, and technical performance of the platform, working closely with business stakeholders and external development partners. /p h3CORE RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liDefine and own the Shopify platform roadmap, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. /li liOversee external development partners by reviewing technical proposals, auditing code quality, and challenging time and cost estimates to ensure budget efficiency. /li liTranslate business requirements into clear technical specifications, managing and prioritizing the development backlog while preventing scope creep. /li liDefine, control, and optimize data flows, API integrations, and overall architecture between Shopify and internal systems (ERP, PIM, and third‑party tools). /li liLead testing activities (UAT) and deployment processes, ensuring agencies deliver high‑quality, scalable, and performance‑driven code aligned with Shopify best practices. /li liMonitor site performance, including Core Web Vitals, and proactively identify technical optimization opportunities. /li /ul h3SKILLS /h3 ul li3–5+ years of experience working with Shopify, preferably in a Product Management, Technical Lead, or similar role. /li liSolid understanding of Headless commerce architectures, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and third‑party app integrations. /li liProven experience managing external development teams, including negotiating quotes and evaluating the accuracy of technical estimates. /li liExperience with version control systems (Git) and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. /li liFluency in both English and Italian, written and spoken. /li liStrong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul pIn Champion we believe that with success comes opportunity.
