For our client, a multinational company leader in its sector, we are looking for a:
**EMEA FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN.**
The role is responsible for the EMEA finance supply chain operations of the Company, leadership oversight of the manufacturing footprint across 5 manufacturing sites & refurb centers and logistic operations across 6 distribution centers (growing), product cost & sourcing operations, investment & make/buy decisions, PP&E; and cash flow management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead cost accounting and KPI reporting (cost per hour, efficiency etc )
- Guarantee the correct implementation of the inventory strategy, defining operative methods and calendar, integrating data of missing costs, to ensure the reliability of the data in line with the requirements of the external auditors
- Monitoring the course of the business while reporting deviations or risks to the management board
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;
- Creation of variance analyses, budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc reporting;
- Collaborate cross functionally to understand and improve efficiency, buy strategy, inflation/drive deflation analysis
- Create ROI and IRR analysis for make vs buy and new investment opportunities
- Partner with operation and R&D; to perform VAVE activities to identify design improvements in the finished product and related processes that can increase performance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Provide efficient, timely and reliable information to drive business decision
- Ensure that financial information is in compliance with Corporate and local rules and regulations
- Participate in finance optimization projects at multiple levels
- Support in ad hoc projects inside or outside the Business which require financial competence and support
- Control and implement balancing between the warehouse and industrial management
- Plan warehouse movements, implement the control of the balancing of the accounts assuring the value of stocks and the cash flow of the materials
- Review of existing processes/flows and identification of sources of value creation
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Degree in Economics or Engineering with experience in controlling, accounting, finance, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience as Finance Operation Leader in multinational manufacturing companies
- Very Fluent in English; French, German or Spanish desired
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent ability to organize and plan, delegate, lead and motivate people, and maintain effective control
- Experienced in business management, including the successful management of a major operational or functional department
- Experienced in driving the short-term (annual) and 3-5 years action planning process and a system for progress follow-up and reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills;
- Previous significant experience in SAP
- Global Sourcing, Lean Manufacturing, Supply chain optimization, logistic management, supply chain management experience
