As part of one of the world's leading professional services networks, this dynamic and growing firm operates in Cyprus with offices in Nicosia and Limassol, employing over 150 professionals. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit, tax, accounting, and advisory services, the firm is now looking to expand its Technology Advisory team by hiring an Information Security Consultant for their Nicosia based offices. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to contribute to impactful projects across information systems auditing, cybersecurity, and data privacy within a globally recognized organization. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning and executing audits relating to Information Systems and Information Security, including the identification of IT risks and controls, the development of test criteria, the analysis of evidence and the documentation of observations.
2. Assess controls, processes and policies related to IT and security, identifying deficiencies & developing remediation strategies.
3. Assist in information security & privacy projects related to all domains of information security and data privacy.
4. Assist in a variety of technology-related projects.
5. Perform any other relevant duties.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
6. University degree in Information Security/Computer Science or any other relevant field.
7. A relevant postgraduate degree will be considered as a strong plus.
8. Between 1-3 years of experience in information security and/or IT audit.
9. Prior work experience in an audit firm will be considered as a strong plus.
10. Excellent knowledge of GDPR.
11. Knowledge of IS/IT control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, COSO).
12. Experience in offensive security techniques will be considered as a plus.
13. Holding or working towards recognized professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CIPP/E etc.) will be considered as a plus.
14. Fluency in English, both written and verbal
